From Single Mode Fused Coupler to Lidar- My 30 years Engineer Career in Silicon Valley

Abstract:

I will share my experience during 30 years Engineer Career  in Silicon Valley , Those  area involve

1.      Fiber optics, external cavity laser diode, laser diode to fiber coupling / packaging

2.      The optical system for wafer inspection, Hematology Instruments

3.      Precision Optics Nano technology

4.      Ink jet  droplet detection and color filter transmission system—in pixel level  

5.      How to design and setup an advanced lab which can met the requirement.

6..       Introduction of Lidar, what is  Lidar, how it works, ………..

Bio:

(翁仁修) Mr. Rensue  Wong  Received  B. S. degree in Physics from the Chung-Yuan Christian University

(中原大學), Taiwan ,  M. S. degree in Physics/Optics from the University of Texas at El Paso, El Paso, Texas.

He had been work for AMP, KLA Tencor, HP (Agilent Technology), Crystal Technology, Lens Vector, Abbott Labs and Jabil as an Design/ R&D Engineer，Manufacturing   Engineer, Testing  Engineer based on the company he worked before.

He currently running a optical/opto-electronic/opto-mechanical lab in Sunnyvale. He took 30 years to prepare all necessary hardware, software and knowledge.

Mr. Wong holds four U. S. Patents. All of them are optics and fiber optics related.   He is a member of OSA( Optical Society of America)  and SPIE.
