Patenting for Individual Inventors and Small Companies

Abstract:

Intellectual property in general, and patents in particular, provide a great strategic challenge to individual inventors and small companies. Such entities can potentially benefit the greatest from patent protection, yet are not always in the best position to afford the appropriate level of protection.

In this Seminar, the speaker will provide a brief introduction to Patent Law and the Patent Process in the United States and around the World, and offer some practical guidance for individual inventors and small companies contemplating patent protection.
