Lidar, The Unsolved Challenge of Autonomous Vehicles

Abstract:

Turboroto’s own core technology in automobile LiDAR solution will be introduced to the audience. Turboroto SuperMEMS optical scan mirror engine has over 40x optical scan mirror size, superior then any existing MEMS LiDAR solutions.

Bio:

Mr. Ping Li is currently the CEO of Turboroto Inc which develops LiDAR solution for autonomous drive, Turboroto integrated Baidu’s three Automatous car solution packs. In the past, Ping worked on system integration and engineering consultation for customers, e.g. Cisco. From 1997 to 1999, he was the Chief staff engineer of RedRite Inc (now part of Western digital), and worked on ptomechanical, system integration, and optical hard drive development. From 1992 to 1997, he was with Ericsson Inc, engaged in system integration, and pattern recognition. Mr. Li received MSME degree in System integration from SJSU, his BSME degree in Cryogenics from Xian Jiaotong University.
