The Flow Cytometry and Its Optical Layout

Abstract:

         Flow cytometry is a laser-based, biophysical technology employed in cell counting, cell sorting, biomarker detection and protein engineering, I will using commercial Hematology Analyzer as an example to explain optical layout and their design concept.

 

Bio: 

 

Mr. Wong received  B. S. degree in Physics from the Chung-Yuan Christian University, Taiwan ,  M. S. degree in Physics/Optics from  the University of Texas at El Paso, El Paso, Texas.

He has been working  in  the area of  fiber optics,  external cavity laser diode,   laser  diode to fiber coupling / packaging , the optical system for wafer inspection, Precision Optics production and Hematology Instruments. He is  currently working  in Jabil.

 

Mr. Wong  holds  four  U. S. Patents. All of them are optics and fiber optics related.   He is a member of  OSA  and SPIE.
